A variety of
resources were used to create The Living Maya. In-depth interviews
were the main source for text content. In addition, background information
was gathered from books, both published and unpublished manuscripts,
journals, grant
requests and reports developed by Mayan indigenous organizations,
census reports, web sites, and informational brochures.
Resources
are listed in the Resources and Notes section that is located within
each chapter.
